Below are some websites that offer ideas and activities for Early Years children-
www.warwickshire.gov.uk/libraries offers a click and collect service for books. You can join online and are given a temporary number until you receive your library card.
If you log onto booktrust.org.uk and add the link to 'home time' there are some creative activities for Early Years plus actors and authors reading some familiar books.
www.oxfordowl.co.uk has ideas for learning at home. The activities are linked to Early Years or by age going forwards. Under 'Literacy' there are videos by Julia Donaldson about storytelling plus her reading her own work. There are also videos for simple maths games that can easily be played at home and one about all the learning opportunities for maths outdoors.
'Activities for 4–5-year-olds on the bbc.co.uk/tiny-happy-people are a good example of ideas to use in normal routines, sorting clothes into sets, finding out what's in a shopping bag, playing 'I Spy', indoor treasure hunt or obstacle course.
Hungry Little Minds (click on this link) offers simple fun activities for children aged 0-5 years.
