We are an inclusive setting, welcoming and valuing every child. Our ethos is very much about seeing each child as an individual and adapting our Nursery School to meet their needs. Our experienced SEND team take a proactive approach to supporting children with additional needs, working closely with parents to ensure all children are able to settle in at their own pace and given every opportunity to thrive. Our focus is on early intervention and we always recognise that parents know their child best, ensuring they are included in planning for progress and celebrating successes. We work in partnership with a range of other professionals including educational psychologists, speech and language therapists, physiotherapists and specialist teachers to identify individual strengths and specific areas of need, set aspirational targets and tailor our support to meet the needs of each child and ensuring we do everything possible to prepare them for their next stage of education, whether this is applying for funding through an Education Health Care Plan application or facilitating a transition meeting with next school/setting.
