Chair of Governors (Governor since 2010)

Qualifications -. BEd (Hons); MA Education; PhD

Likes - Family, friends, live music and sunshine

Dislikes - Intolerance, anchovies and reality TV 

Claim to fame:  My great grandad was the inspiration for Toad in 'Wind in the Willows'

 

Cat Oulton-Rowe 

Vice Chair (Governor since 2022) 

Likes - A cup of tea, reading and the sunshine! Combining all three is best!! 

Dislikes - Horror movies, spicy food 

Claim to fame - Orlando Bloom used to visit my local pub when I lived in Canterbury! 

 

Lucy Dube

Governor (since 2021) and parent to two children

Likes -Trees, running, playing the piano, cake

Dislikes - Litter, plastic packaging, toffees

Claim to fame - I have a Blue Peter badge (I played cello in Warwickshire youth orchestra and we performed on the show)

 

Hannah Ratcliffe 

Parent Governor (since 2023)

Likes - Dancing, gardening, listening to podcasts

Dislikes - Being cold, long journeys, 

Claim to fame - I'm the great great niece of a suffragette!

 

Cathy Bignold

Head teacher (WNS since 2011)

Qualifications - Bed (Hons), EYP, NNEB, National SENDCO award

Likes - Coffee, reading, the seaside, custard, prawns and Christmas!

Dislikes - Rats, coriander, celery and tea

Claim to Fame - I once sang (as a backing singer) in front of 500 people!
